We're introduced first to Double D, who actually isn't yet called "Double D" in this episode. ![]() The music used in this very first scene isn't actually used very often later, and isn't one of the regular leitmotifs the show is known for. In reality, this was an intentional reference to older cartoons, which had general blocks of color for background objects that kids "never pay attention to." ![]() A clear example of this is Edd's House, whose blue color goes beyond its boundaries. What appears to be bad designing is clear throughout the first few episodes of the series.
